The „line“ of mushroom mountain
How is the body (re-)acting in a situation of being caught in realities between absence and simulation and his challenged analog presence? Performer and Choreographer Daniel Aschwanden in collaboration with media artist Conny Zenk use practices like “the line“, consisting of a group of people lining up behind eachother, using their own smartphone to videorecord the mobile phones screen of the neigbour in front. The images could remain a contemporary reflection of media art of the 60ies and 70ies. The collective performance on a touristic observation platform on Mushroom mountain included the performers visiting the mountain together but also a group of chinese tourists, who spontaneously followed the call of the artists to join.
